Part-time technician providing desktop support to employees as well as assisting to maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest system functionality.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain computers, associated hardware and necessary peripheral devices
  • Install and configure appropriate software and applications according to specifications
  • Provide desktop support and guidance to users on how to operate new software/computer equipment (both Mac and Windows)
  • Respond to user help tickets and perform troubleshooting to diagnose/resolve problems
  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without interrupting daily office work
  • Develop and maintain local networks to optimize performance
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
  • Identify computer or network equipment shortages and may place orders
  • May assist with server maintenance
  • Assist to build and maintain effective computer systems and networks to optimize the role of technology on business sustainability
  • Other duties as assigned


Primary Qualifications:

  • College coursework toward Computer Science degree (Associate’s degree preferred)
  • Prior experience as IT Technicianor related position
  • Knowledge of computer software and hardware and familiarity with a variety of internet applications, networks, and operating systems
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively complete and prioritize multiple deadlines or projects
  • Committed team player with the ability to develop and maintain productive work relationships
  • Flexibility conducive to a fast-paced, growing company environment
