This project is currently in development. There is no major activity on site currently. We anticipate building out this solar complex several phases. The first phase is planned to include 600 MWdc solar power and 1900 MWh battery storage with commercial operations beginning in 2027. The second phase is planned to include 650 MWdc solar power and 2100 MWh battery storage to be completed at a later date.

A public hearing regarding the CEC Application has been scheduled before the ACC Line Siting Committee on Monday December 9 beginning at 1:00 p.m. and will continue, as necessary, on Tuesday December 10, 2024, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and again each subsequent day through the completion of the hearing. A public comment session will be held starting at 5:30 p.m. on December 9. Members of the public or other stakeholders are invited to attend the hearing in person or virtually.
The hearing will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Flagstaff, in the Coconino/Canyon Room, located at 1175 West Route 66, Flagstaff, Arizona. Members of the public can also participate virtually using the resources below:

As part of the Certificate of Environmental Clearance process for the gen-tie transmission line that will connect the power generated from Snowflake to the electrical grid, Clēnera held a public open house on August 15 and a public webinar on September 18, 2024.
